DuoDERM Extra Thin 10×10 is a type of hydrocolloid wound dressing. Manufactured by ConvaTec, it is designed to manage and protect lightly exuding wounds by creating a moist healing environment.

- Hydrocolloid composition: It has a unique formula that forms a soft, moist gel when it comes into contact with wound exudate (fluid). This helps support the body’s own healing process, known as autolytic debridement, by naturally removing dead tissue.
- Thin and flexible: The dressing is extra thin, which allows it to easily conform to body contours and awkward areas, providing comfort and flexibility.
- Protective barrier: The outer film is vapor-permeable, which allows oxygen to reach the wound while also providing a barrier against bacteria, viruses, and other external contaminants. The film is also waterproof.
