How to use
- Wash your hands thoroughly with warm, soapy water and dry them completely.
- Prepare the lancing device by inserting a lancet and setting the desired penetration depth.
- Take out a test strip from its container and tightly close the cap immediately.
- Insert the metallic end of the test strip into the meter. The meter will turn on and display a flashing blood drop symbol, according to Accu-Chek India.
- Prick your finger with the lancing device.
- Gently squeeze your finger to help a blood drop form.
- Touch the yellow edge of the test strip to the blood drop. The blood will be drawn into the strip, and a flashing hourglass symbol will appear.
- The result will be displayed on the meter’s screen in less than 4 seconds. An arrow will indicate if your reading is within, above, or below your target range.
- Remove and dispose of the used test strip appropriately.
